Charles Krauthammer gets the award for Conservative Wishful Thinker of the Day:
Look, what we have as you mentioned in the opening, we have not just Obamacare unraveling, not just the Obama administration unraveling, not just the Democratic majority in the Senate [unraveling] — but we could be looking at the collapse of American liberalism.
Or maybe it's just Conservative Overstatement of the Day. Liberalism isn't going to collapse because of this inept administration anymore than conservatism collapsed after the Goldwater debacle or the Bush compassionate conservatism lunacy. It just wen into retreat for awhile, gathering strength and healing wounds. It wil be the same with liberalism. And its bounce back will be more pronouced because it promises freebies paid for with other people's money. Who doesn't like that?
