Oh, why not? This group wants to make Super Bowl Sunday a national holiday, with the Monday after designated as a "day of observation" (read: three-day weekend). We've trivialized the whole concept of memorial days, as in the way we slight Washington's and Lincoln's real birthdays for the three-day-weekend excuse known as President's Day. So we might as well do something as nonsensical as making a sporting even a national holiday. Most people know and care more about football than than silly old historical stuff anyway.
