While we're all so busy trying to knock down Bill of Rights-violation gophers, King Kong is rounding the corner and headed straight for us:

The government wants a list all requests entered into Google's search engine during an unspecified single week — a breakdown that could conceivably span tens of millions of queries. In addition, it seeks 1 million randomly selected Web addresses from various Google databases.

And this isn't even about national security. It's about the online child protection act, which the government keeps trying to implement, in one roundabout way or another, despite being rebuffed at every turn.
