Drat. Indiana gets slighted in another one of those "best of" lists. CNN and Money magazine have compiled a list of the 100 best places to live, and it looks like only two Indiana cities get a mention -- Fishers, Pop. 48,900, just outside of Indianapolis, at No. 24; and Dyer, Pop. 16,800, outside Gary, at No. 97. If you look at the list and study the criteria used, it seems that the best places to live are small encaves of wealth in which people can relax with their own, but close to a big city where they can actually find something to do once in awhile. What a shock. Seems like Aboite Twp. should have gotten a mention. Oh, wait. That's right. They're us now.
