I am glad these folks were able to raise the money to save their island for whatever they want it for:
Angola - Money raised from the sale of seminude photos, home-brewed beer and cookbooks has helped a group of nature lovers raise enough money to by a small island to protect it from development.

To raise the money, the conservancy sold pinup calendars featuring the "Women of Clear Lake" - volunteers 50 years and older who posed seminude with strategically placed props. Sales of the 2007 calendar raised $28,000, so the women also created a 2008 calendar.
I am also glad I have not seen the calendar. Hooray for "strategically placed props" in case I ever do.
