Finally over

It's official. Members of the Electoral College are voting today, so Barack Obama really will be the president-elect. Of course, maybe you're like this guy and think we should just scrap the whole system so that the election is over and done with when the popular vote is counted:

In his election-night victory speech, Barack Obama said he would be a president for all Americans, not just those who voted for him. But as a candidate he didn't campaign with equal vigor for every vote. Instead, he and John McCain devoted more than 98% of their television ad spending and campaign events to just 15 states which together make up about a third of the U.S. population.

Of course, with a popular vote, the candidates would just concentrate on the biggest population centers -- New York, California, a few others. Think any of them would have even set foot in Indiana?
