Two more agitations we could do without. First up, atheists gone wild:
The Courier-Journal says atheists are suing Kentucky over a clause in state law that says "safety and security of the Commonwealth cannot be achieved apart from reliance upon Almighty God."

Ed Buckner, head of the atheist group, tells AP that Kentucky is the only state "that is attempting to dump their clear responsibility for protecting their citizens onto God or any other mythological creature."
And then there is the "anti-tax activist" from upstate New York, whose group just won't let that birth-certificate thing go:
An anti-tax activist from upstate New York who is questioning whether President-elect Barack Obama is a "natural born citizen" eligible for the nation's top job said Tuesday that his non-profit group spent "tens of thousands of dollars" to get his message across in ads in the Chicago Tribune this week.
Robert L. Schulz, 69, chairman of We The People Foundation, took out ads Monday and Wednesday to raise questions about whether Obama's Hawaii certificate of live birth is authentic.
Ah, religion, politics and single-minded people with too much time on their hands. I thought everybody knew God was born in Singapore and Obama is eternal.
