Police say a Carmel man faces child neglect charges after he left his children home alone twice on one day to buy liquor, withdraw cash and visit a massage parlor.

Davis left his 1-year-old and 4-year-old children home alone at 9:45 a.m. July 9 to go to a liquor store to purchase alcohol. Davis told police he was gone approximately 15 minutes.
At about noon the same day . . . Davis left the home again while his children were asleep to withdraw cash from an ATM and visit a massage parlor. He returned home about 90 minutes later.
One of the comments says Davis is a wonderful guy who just made a bad choice. That could go on a lot of tombstones.
