LAPORTE, Ind. - Northern Indiana police say a group of underage drinkers home from college threw a party at the wrong place -- right next door to the LaPorte County sheriff's house.
Sheriff Mike Mollenhauer says his next-door neighbors asked him to keep an eye on their house while they were out of town. He became suspicious when he saw several vehicles parked outside.
Probably when the neighbors asked the sheriff to watch the house, they did not mean, "to catch our child throwing a wild party." Now they know how weak their gene pool is.
