City officials have a downtown site in mind for a new 11,000-seat arena that they hope to start building this summer.
Some business owners now at the two-block area, however, are clear that they want to stay.
Don't they realize that city officials know better than they do what downtown needs and how unique and precious a sports arena will make their miserable city? And you know why they're being so stubborn, don't you? They think people will still come to them where they are and buy the stuff they're selling, so they can make a profit. Bastards.
