Concerned over recent truck wrecks that have been caused by confrontations with cars, Indiana State Police have started a program where troopers will ride in semis to look for violations, which will then be radioed to nearby troopers who will stop the cars and write tickets.
OK, fine. If 56 percent of truck-car wrecks really are caused by the cars, as State Police say, it makes sense to go undercover in a semi. But it does seem sort of unnatural, doesn't it?
