Thank goodness the long drought is nearly over:
The 2009 American Football Conference champion Colts will make 22 tour stops across the region between June 1 and July 21.
And then we have to wait only until Aug. 15 and the first exhibition game, at home against San Francisco.
I have one request for this year. It's unfair of the Colts to wait until near the end of the season to deliberately throw a game and dash our hopes for a perfect year even before a Super Bowl loss. So I hope they deliberately lose the first regular-season game this time around. Then we can all relax and just enjoy the rest of the schedule.
