Here's a way to get guns off the streets I suspect all sides in the debate can agree to:

Ernest R. Snow, 44, Indianapolis, was sentenced to 15 years in prison today by U.S. District Judge Larry J. McKinney following his guilty plea to being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Because Snow was found to have three prior qualifying felony convictions he was sentenced as an Armed Career Criminal. Such persons are subject to a mandatory minimum 15 years in prison.

Some of us might make it "three strikes and you're out" instead of four, and some might argue that a 15-year-minimum is too much or not enough, but does anybody want to stick up for Mr. Snow's rights?
