EVANSVILLE — A judge agreed Wednesday to push back the trial date of former Knight Township Trustee Linda K. Durham so she could look for work.
Durham, 31, was to go on trial Monday on charges of theft and official misconduct.
She is accused of using the township office credit card to pay at least $34,000 in personal expenses.
Could lead to one heck of a job interview. "Well, yes, I do have lots of experience with handling finance, as a matter of fact, and I rate myself quite high on taking the initiative. Could we speed this up, by the way? I have to get back to court."
