The choice

Looks like former Indiana House Speaker John Gregg will be the Democratic candidate for governor going up against Republican U.S. Rep. Mike Pence next year. That means voters will have a choice between a mid-50s attorney and experienced politician who was once a poltical talk show host and opposes abortion and a mid-50s attorney and experienced politician who was once a political talk show host and opposes abortion. But not to worry if you're looking for real differences between them. Gregg, for example, touts his Hoosier values:

"I was taught to respect hard work, personal responsibility, honesty and faith," Gregg said in the video.

Pence, on the other hand,  says U.S. Sen. Dan Coats, is the one for us because his "commitment to fiscal discipline, limited government and Hoosier values is exactly what we need."

Thank God they both are committed to Hoosier values. I'd hate to wake up some morning and discover the state was been led by someone with Buckeye values or Hawkeye values or Michigander values or Cornhusker values. You're either a true, blue Hoosier or damn furriner, I says.
