IHL Commissioner Dennis Hextall said there will be a press conference in Dayton tomorrow to announce the new owners.
``It appears that the new group coming in have the wherewithal to make the franchise very stable,'' Hextall said. ``I think they have been looking at this situation a while.''
Komets president Michael Franke said of Richard Bruner and Ryan Yerrick, ``It's all going to work out for the best. The one thing I can say, if it wasn't for this ownership group, Dayton hockey never would have come back. They laid the groundwork for something good.''
``It's just the state of the economy,'' Franke said. ``Look at the newspaper, television, radio, automobile and retail businesses. This is what is happening on main street America right now, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to look around at our industry and see what the attendance is and realize there's a problem. It's scary out there.
``People around here, especially in minor league hockey
