April 24, 2011 - Fort Wayne, Ind. - Terry Hapner reacts as he and some 200 other Fort Wayne Komets fans watch the Rapid City Rush score their fourth goal of the first period on the numerous TV screens at Wrigley Field Bar and Grill on Sunday. The Komets eventually lost 6-1 to the Rush to end their season with a 3-2 CHL Turner Conference semifinal series loss in Rapid City, SD.

The Komets couldn't do anything right that period and passes and shots bounced off everyone and always seemed to end up in the Fort Wayne net. Unbelievable. The Komets gave up three goals on seven shots, two of them on the power play, and fought back to make it 3-1 and seemed to have everything stabilized when a Rapid City pass out front bounced high in the air and about six players tried to dive on it when it landed. Derek LeBlanc scored for Rapid City, but the Komets seemed to be claiming he kicked the puck in. I couldn't tell because there were so many bodies around.

I just drove 350 miles in five hours without seeing one Starbucks or one McDonald's but 83 casino advertisements. I had to stop at a gas station for coffee. Pretty country and not much traffic. I'm thinking of opening a Tim Horton's here
