Or lack of them, actually. Stephon Thorne is fine after Saturday's fight, and Brent Henley's knee is a slight sprain, not though to be serious at all. The Komets had the day off except for a trip to the gym. They'll be back at it on the ice tomorrow.
For one thing, their forechecking is smothering the Rush. How many times have you seen the Rush defensemen turn or stop in their own zone while carrying the puck up. They can't get through the neutral zone, and as soon as they get there, they just dump the puck in. The Rush are not a very good dump and chase team.
The Komets also came out playing tough right away, and Stephon Thorne and David Starenky made a big impact early. They talked and shoved after every whistle, and it seemed the Rush backed up a little.

Well, if they feel the need to change their IP addresses... You've got to wonder.
Please be aware, though, things are going to be much stricter around here, more like they've been the last week or two. If we have to, I have been authorized to go as far as approving every post before it can be seen. I certainly don't want to do that, because some day I'd like to, you know, have a life or actually sleep more than five hours at a time, go on a date without wondering who's starting a war on the blog or even go more than four hours without checking out every post.
