Tailing the Komets

It's 1-1 after two

First, Wade Megan scored for the Cyclones

Then Mike Embach ripped a slap shot just under the crossbar to tie it on a power play.

Scoreless after one

Shots 9-5 Komets who probably had the better scoring  chances. Ben Meisner stopped Wade Megan on a breakaway.

Aaron Clarke couldn't get a shot off from this position.

Game 1, Round 2

Sy Nutkevitch is out tonight and Matt Carter is in. Referee is Stephen Reneau.

Cyclones had to make a 15 1/2-hour bus ride home from Orlando on Tuesday nighht/Wednesday morning. Wow!

If you are coming down for Saturday's game, please get here early. The Reds are in town and playing at the same time so the earlier you get here, the better chances you'll have for a parking spot which costs anywhere from $12 to $20. There's also a marathon on Sunday morning so plan on getting out of here ASAP, too.

There are already a few dozen Komets fans here tonight.

So, who ya picking?

You'll find out my pick with tomorrow's stories, who and maybe more importantly, why?

Gotta love Mike Emrick
