50 changes we'd like to see in sports in 2014

Tonight on SoundOff

Mather Lecture Series

I've got the honor of kicking off the History Center's Mather Lecture Series at 2 p.m. Sunday. There will be plenty of time for Q&A, and I promise to get you out in time for the game since I have to get there, too. Admission is free.

Here's some more about the event.

Cody Reichard traded

ECHL transactions say he's been traded to Utah but it doesn't say who for.

Happy new year

Let's hope 2014 turns out to be better for all of us individually and for the Komets in general. Let's all pray for the best for each other and our families first and for then hockey. God Bless.

Stanford Ratings for Dec. 30

Weird goal

The Komets trail 2-1 after two periods on a long goal from just inside the red line by Gwinnett's Brenden Walker on Fort Wayne goaltender Ben Meisner. Komets have had some scoring chances, but have not been able to score.

Komets down early

Evansville leads 3-0 as the Komets obviously have not gotten off the bus yet. Lots of rebounds in front and turnovers have led to three goals by Tom Zanoski.
