Lots of stickwork so far, and referee Brent Coulombe is not calling much. Komets lead 2-0 after the first period. They are so far controlling the front of both nets very well, and scored on their first two shots against Larry Sterling.

The Komets also honored Guy Dupuis before the game for playing his 1,000th game as a Komet on Saturday night.
