Battle of the pop idols

Not sure quite what, but this must say something important about modern times:

 President Barack Obama and international teen sensation Justin Bieber are expected in New York City on Thursday. Expect 'Obama-Bieber' gridlock throughout the day especially in Midtown Manhattan and the West Side of Manhattan as the two very popular and heavily protected figures travel around town.

Yeah, those New York rubes and hicks, they'll get excited about just anybody. Wonder who'll draw the biggest crowd, the kid who's cool but not grown up enough to understand the world and who inexplicably has millions of rabid fans, or Justin Bieber?
