I'm with you. Anyplace I can get a couple of stiff drinks before a flight is OK with me. Flying scares the hell out of me.
If I can get some decent chow at the same time, so much the better. You can make your own airline food joke here.
I'm OK with the flying itself, but the landings put me on edge a little, and the takeoffs absolutely terrify me.
The difference between eating places at ground terminals and at air terminals is minimal from a quality standpoint because both are bad. Probably because air travelers are expected to have lots of money, everything is overpriced at Fort Wayne Intergalactic, especially the stuff in the snack bar ... because it is not, by any stretch of the imagination, a restaurant.
So, Leo, if they could figure out a way to fly without takeoffs and landings, you would feel better ? Sounds like you're in need of a transporter, ...
