Turning back the, er, wheels of progress:
LEESBURG, Va. - Drive-through service windows soon could be banned in parts of Leesburg if two members of the town council get their way.
I don't mind getting out of the car, but I think the trend today is to keep us in the house. After an era of disappearing home deliveries of things like dairy products, we're seeing the return. I frequently have a meal delivered from one of the restaurants that use Waiter on the Way, and I just got a flier from a grocrery store that delivers in bulk. Outdoors? Highly overrated.

Given the PROPER venue, outdoor eating is great.
But you have to admit that a GOOD pizza or some GOOD Chinese that's delivered is worth it's weight in calories!!!
Personally, I'm all for closing ALL fast food places AFTER 11PM!
If you have a 24/7 DINER...fine and dandy.
Anything else....I just say learn to cook (or at least OPEN a damn can)!

About the time they get that "Scotty, beam me up" thing perfected.
Now, if I could just convince Fed Ex of UPS to deliver hot food, ...
