"The Daily Show" had a parody piece on open carry, with a guest appearance by our own Paul Helmke, now with the Brady anti-gun organization. A lot of gun-rights people seem upset with the bit, but it made me laugh, and the Brady group doesn't come off looking that good, either.
Paul: "Anyone who's carrying a Colt .45 on their hip constantly in public is not a normal human being" and, "People who carry guns around in public are living in some fantasy world."

Helmke turned out to be such an embarassment. His was the last election I voted in in Ft Wayne before moving north and I sincerely apologize for casting a vote for him. Of course it was him or Win Moses, what were we to do?
This is a very funny piece, ... good stuff.
That previous post was actually supposed to be me, ...
Gentlemen:
So, if I take this correctly (with Helmke, that's dicey at best), because I carry a .45 TAURUS on my hip and carry it around in public because I (also) live on the SOUTHEAST side (thanks, Paul), and NOT a fantasy world, then I'm perfectly normal and good-to-go, right?
Just putting it out there...
;)
Bobby, you know your good to go in my book! Lock & load baby.
Helmke Preside over a city where criminal gangs did and still do openly sell crack cocain and use the public streets as their shooting range. If he thinks someone living in the inner-city should not be carrying a gun, then he's the one living in a fantasy world.
