I've been remiss lately in my duty to pass along shocking and stunning news from the fascinating world of university research. So here's a beaut of a study:
Women have not adapted to casual sex, according to a Durham University study.
More than half the women interviewed for the survey said they had negative feelings about one night stands.Professor Anne Campbell from Durham University said the negative feelings reported by women after one-night stands suggest they are not well adapted to fleeting sexual encounters.
Men are more likely to reproduce and therefore to benefit from numerous short-term partners. For women, however, quality seems to be more important than quantity.
Men like quickies and one-nighters, in other words, but women want enduring "quality." So, that's been the problem! Knowing this could certainly would have saved us a lot of trouble, huh?

How many college guys are engaging in one-night stands because they want to reproduce?
If you have a fool designing a study, you get foolish results. If you have a partisan designing a study, you get partisan results. Anne Campbell is editor of a magazine for lesbians.
If you conducted a study among single women of 30 or 40, you'd get different results than if you study immature women, fresh out of high school. We're meat, fellas. Use us and lose us. The zipless f-word.
Geez, you still remember "Fear of Flying"?
Nope. And obviously you're too young to remember it, too.
Come on, Guys ...Erica Mann Jong copyrighted Fear of Flying in 1973. I was 34 at the time, and if I had even heard of the book, senior moments and/or better memories have taken control of my mind now.
So Harl ...what is a Zipless F*ck?
Let me take this one, so as to keep it at least Pg-13. As described by Jong, it is "the purest thing there is," a sexual encounter between strangers that is quick and hot and completely without guilt or remorse, the perfect one-night stand. Whew. Need a smoke now.
PG-13 indeed. This sh"t don't ever happen except in movies.
The urban dictionary has two definitions for it, Alex.
A phrase coined by Erica Jong in the book "Fear of Flying". As described by her - It is a sexual encounter between strangers that has the swift compression of a dream and is seemingly free of all remorse and guilt. It is absolutely pure, there is no power game and it is free of ulterior motives. It has also been described as the perfect one night stand.
The zipless f*** is the purest thing there is, rarer than the unicorn and I have never had one. - "Fear of Flying"
and
A usually spontaneous sexual encounter between strangers with little or no personal information exchanged. The highest plateau of casual sex.
Walking into an elevator, locking eyes with a woman (or man) and without further ado proceeding to engage in hot, passionate sex between the 5th and 45th floors. You finish, compose yourselves, and go your separate ways, never to meet again.
