Bono

"It's tough to be a saint" department:

He is the rock legend dubbed 'Saint Bono' for his long-running campaign against global poverty.

But when Bono's band U2 perform at Glastonbury later this month, protesters are planning to accuse them of avoiding taxes which could have helped exactly the sort of people the singer cares about so dearly.

The protest has been provoked by U2's decision to move their multi-million-pound music and publishing business away from Ireland

Just because they're progressive liberals preaching "spread the wealth" to governments worldwide it's no reason to assume they are in anyway going to actually participate in that "shared sacrifice" thingy.

No different than fellow "spokespeople" for the common man Springsteen & Bon Jovi using sham tax breaks in New Jersey as "farmers"....

"I'm fighting for the common man, oh, excuse me, have you any grey poupon?"

I think you're confusing Bono's liberal act with what Bono actually is: a music industry, pro-corporate, pro RIAA shill.

Much like you Leo, as an employee of (well, not-that-) big (anymore) content yourself, are and have been.
