Catch and release

And if you can't eat the fish, I'd recommend not drinking the water, either:

The state's annual warnings against eating some fish caught in Indiana's waterways aren't reaching enough Hoosiers, leading some people to unknowingly eat catches tainted with industrial contaminants, public health advocates said Thursday.

One of the first things the neighborhood kids told me when our family moved to Fort Wayne was how much fun it was to go the river and fish for carp. One of the other ones was, "But don't eat them!" (It was during one of those fishing outings that a friend introduced me to the forbidden pleasure of smoking, but that's another story. I should hunt him down and sue him; it can't possibly be my fault.)

And to think DICK GREGORY emphatically states that a plot against the black community is because "There's something in the WATER"...
Greg...it's not the WATER...it's the FISH that SWIM in the water...that your people are eating...!!!
Puh-LEASE get your facts straight!
Now...where's my cornmeal and karo?

Combined Sewer Overflow - ain't it grand?

The civil engineering and planning in this town is abysmal...

Planning?

In Fort Wayne?

Surely you jest Mr. Pruitt...

If Fort Wayne believed in planning we would figure out how we are going to fix the Combined Sewer Overflow problem in the next few years and we would figure out how to pay for that project.

Instead, we are wasting MILLIONS of dollars on Eminent Domain lawsuits. We are considering building a new baseball stadium downtown when we have a fine baseball stadium already...

Planning does not exist in Fort Wayne government...

...With the only exception is all the "planning" we see to fix up a blighted area at Pontiac & Greighton...we'll see how long it takes after it's completed until it looks like it does NOW (again).

When this city "plans" anything...it seems to be ON THE FLY, and that's pitiful, considering ALL the damn task forces that are created to plan...and plan...and plan some more while wasting good money.

Be nice to "plan" on stopping the drug flow into Fort Wayne...or quieting all the boomcar noise...or even a "plan" to get some DECENT tenants into rentals for a change.

Pipe dreams are nice, aren't they?
