Opening Arguments

Hey, dog

I'm with you, man:

When his wife unveiled the USDA's new nutritional plate yesterday, there definitely wasn't a space for chili dogs.

But that didn't stop Barack Obama wolfing down two in Toledo today - with fries and an extra bowl of chili on the side.

The president happily munched on the unhealthy meal before he visited the city's Chrysler factory, and even teased one of his hosts for ordering ketchup, a faux-pas in his home town of Chicago.

No room on the new "nutritional plate" for the magnificent chili dog? With its combination of meat, vegetables and grain, the only question is where on the plate it belongs. You've probably heard or read that the egg is the most nutritious food when weighing benefits-per-calories. Don't believe it.

The extra bowl of chili on the side does seem like overkill, though. That's a politican for you.

This is like the 1000th example of "do as I say, not as I do" from this guy. You'd think soon even the most devout disciples would be abandoning Teh One.

Seriously, how long can you go on ignoring your lying eyes and just repeat the books of the Gospel according to Barack?

Minutes before this photo was taken, he was on a stage flat out lying about Chrysler paying the government back. I can understand Idol worship but sheesh, but this is getting ridiculous.
