You make it sound as if there are many people out there blaming islamofascism on the moral decay of the west - has anyone ever met any such person? Sounds like a convenient straw man to me...
You know, I have always been fascinated and respectful of other cultures, but I'm having a real hard time believing these guys aren't just totally freakin' nuts. No matter how the Sheehans (and her ilk) of this world twist things around, you can't blame us for these people having no soul.

It truly is amazing how strong sectarian hatred is - and it's not just iraq. The balkans, rwhanda, darfur - all have produced some of the worst atrocities ever witnessed.
In Rwhanda, people smashed babies against a wall in order to kill them so they wouldn't procreate? It wasn't just some isolated incident either. What kind of society generates/tolerates the kind of mentality required for such acts?
