Vera interesting

Can someone explain this to me?

Preparations are underway for the Vera Bradley outlet sale at the Coliseum.

The sale starts tomorrow morning at 8 am.

33,000 people from across the country have already registered for the event.

This is the first year tickets aren't required, but shoppers will need to register once they get there.

My friend K has a bit of a handbag obsession and can choose from among dozens which to carry around each day. She likes Vera Bradley and has one or two. Why? "I don't know, I just like them." OK, fine. Handbags come in all shapes, sizes and designs, and you're gonna like some more than others. But what is it about these particular handbags that make thousands of women travel hundreds of miles and wait in line for hours just to save a few books? Sounds like a cult to me.

I think it has something to do with capuchin monkeys preferring grapes over cucumbers.

Michael:
I think there's free GRANT MONEY to be had with that thought...IF you act fast enough.
I mean, inquiring minds WOULD want to know about THAT.

Sure wouldn't see a bunch of GUYS having such a time over choosing up WALLETS...right?

Now gun shows...that's a bit different...heh.
(and you are seeing more WOMEN there, finally)

Heaven forbid if Vera Bradley EVER starts making womens' SHOES!

We're DOOMED I tell you!

Well, Bob, you may actually be onto something there. It ocurrs to me that confirmation of the existence of a male equivalent of the menstrual cycle may help to explain voting patterns during general elections as well as attendance levels at gun shows. Now, for the underwriting of a study on THAT subject I am certain that somewhere an enlightened grantor can be found. Once all the data have been assembled, controlled studies conducted, and all extraneous variables outside normal distribution eliminated, I'm sure results of such an analysis would serve to disprove the left-wing nutjob theory that the last general election may have been a factor in recent attendance at these events and also account for increased traffic at gun stores.
