What a lot of garbage

It's like they had a secret meeting or something. Evansville:

If the City Council adopts proposals by the city's Water & Sewer Utility, starting next year, Evansville residents will receive two new 96-gallon containers — one for trash and the other for recyclable refuse.

But the new equipment, which also includes eight garbage trucks, must be paid for before then. To that end, city officials are looking at increasing the fees charged to residents for trash collection by $3.70 a month, boosting the current rate of $9.95 a month to $13.65.

And Fort Wayne:

Fort Wayne residents could receive incentives to recycle more and could pay fees for excessive garbage under collection proposals submitted this week.
