I see no fundamental difference between that and current US conservative concerns about gay marriage and the slippery slope leading to people marrying animals.

The extreme predictions of this report remind me of the consultants reports that Fort Wayne is so fond of buying. "If you build a new (enter your pet project here), economic activity will increase 10,000% by (enter the date of the next election, plus one month).

And as far as marrying your pet gerbil is concerned, here's an idea. Let's just end state sanctioned marriage altogether. Joking of course because I realize the gays would never accept this because it means society will not be congratulating them for being gay and straights will not accept it because it fails to recognize the sanctity of their serial monogomy.

Marriage is a religious sacrament, and the first amendment says we shouldn't recognize it. At one time, marriage was necessary to protect children, but the laws have changed to provide a nice income to the mothers of bastards.

And when we do that, we can go back to the traditional definition of marriage: one man, one woman, of the same race, both being over the age of 12 and neither indentured or enslaved.

Why do we see typos just as the page disappears? That should be "nor", not "or". I wouldn't want to raise Leo's blood pressure.
