Wishful thinking

Oh, this is too easy. Michelle Obama and I have the same fantasy!

It is hard to sneak around and do what you want," Michelle Obama said today. "I have done it a couple of times. But you know one fantasy I have, and the Secret Service they keep looking at me because they think I might actually do it, is to walk right out the front door and just keep walking."

Just make sure to take your husband with you. It's OK to leave the dog, though.

Nice try, Zank. Republicans are sweating mightily trying to establish some sort of parallel between Romney, as an adult, carrying a dog on top of his car and Obama, as a little boy, being fed dog meat in Indonesia by adults.

Good luck with that.

Heh, it's working pretty well obviously. What it does do is help illustrate the inanity of dems claims to begin with over the Seamus episode.

I find it hard to believe Marxists have never see a dog in a pick up bed...

I don't think voters will penalize a candidate for eating what his parents told him to eat when he was a kid.  If anything, they will sympathize with him.

There used to be a prof at Defiance College who held his classes' last meeting at Kissner's bar, where he and most students would drink beer, and he'd offer to pay for a brain sandwich for any student who wanted to try one.  We butchered on the farm, so I'd had brain sandwiches growing up; not bad with mustard.  What grossed me out at Kissners was staring at a walleye dinner that stared back at me.  (Their menu says pork brain sandwiches are a tradition since 1928, but that's a lie; they had salf's brain sandwiches originally, and switched to pork brain when the government outlawed that.)

But voters didn't seem to draw offense.  Rita Kissner later ran for mayor and repeatedly won by a fairly nice margin, as I recall.

Zank, you're also presuming Obama wasn't a typical gullible kid who believed it when an adult told him he was eating something crazy just to mess with him, which is also a distinct possibility.
