Headline November 7th 2012:
Ham Sandwich 52%
Barack Obama 48%

--------------------------------------

So much for that Ham Sandwich. (But pretty close on the percentage!) XD

I now await Tim's allegations of voter fraud in five, four, three....

Just don't get it. The busiest time for editorial/opinion pages for both print and the web with a presidential election of historic implications and there is no one here manning the site. Not a way to drive readers.

It was a fascinating election.  Republicans are at a loss at understanding the change of the country in two years.

I believe that the Democrats did an excellent job of changing the tone of the election from economics to the war on women.

Republicans need to stop the war on women.  The hatred they show to women by being pro life and against tax dollars supporting abortion should cease.  Republicans do not have the enough political power.  This is reality.

Democrats someday should stop their war.  Their hatred and contempt for babies is profound.  The reality is that Democrats have the power and have shown the will to kill as many babies as they choose.

Republicans should stop their war on women and respectfully ask the Democrats to stop their war on babies.

The shame is, if the Republicans had a good candidate, who ran a good election, they could have won. You can't beat something with nothing, no matter how fast you dance, and Romney was really dancing fast, trying to satisfy Tea Party anarchists and hoping to attract independents as well.

When Obama ran, a lot of voters changed their registration from Republican to Democrat.  However you're registered for the primary, you can vote for either party's candidates in the general election, and if it looks like you're trying to bring sanity back to the party, a lot of people would have changed their registration back to GOP, as there wasn't much to vote on in the Democratic primary.

How much would it deter bank robbery if the robber went to prison but he got to keep the money?  Punishing a rapist but rewarding him by allowing his DNA to multiply is equally insane. Forcing the victim of rape to carry that child to birth is an especially obscene form of slavery. Both the rapist and his seed should receive the death penalty.

If Romney were really a conservative, he'd have gotten Procter & Gamble to send in their trucks with washers and dryers to the scene of Sandy, gotten Anheiser-Busch to send canned water in, gotten Domino's to send in their kitchen-trucks, all without spending a penny of taxpayer money, to show that you don't need to have bigger government to meet big challenges.  When he didn't lift a finger to help, he sealed his fate.

Harl, you don't feel guilty about supporting Democrat baby killers?  You know, the ones that get pregnant and don't give a damn.

This election wasn't supposed to be about abortion rights.  It was about keeping the U.S. from becoming a banana republic and owing our souls to the communists in China.

How much money do you think the rich people have to pay off these bills that goof ball Democrats and Rhinos have produced?  What is our debt going to be in four years?  20 billion?  30 billion?  Who gives a crap?  The rich people will be our future slaves.

This was the dumbest election I've seen.  How could Indiana vote for Romney and also Donnelly?  Donnelly is Obama.  The war on women killed Mourdock.  A Democrat's finer moment.  It also killed Romney in a few too close to call states.

Have a nice day.  You know I am.

I must admit I underestimated the amount of recipients they were able to get to the polls...

The Dems started out with an electoral base of 47 percent recipients, thanks to the spotlightshown  on them by Mr. Romney and his audience of rich country club whites. So it didn't take much to get those who don't bash Hispanics nor want to force rape babies on women to jump to the good side for a winning coalition.

The electorate is no longer your father's Oldsmobile.

You're right AJ, the majority of the electorate is recipients....you won...more takers than makers...congrats...

RAG: "Harl, you don't feel guilty about supporting Democrat baby killers?  You know, the ones that get pregnant and don't give a damn. "

Not a bit.  I don't know of any, for one thing. I have, however, known of two girls who died from illegal abortions before Roe v. Wade happened.

The UK has a much lower rate of abortion than the US.  I'd say the real baby-killers are those who oppose universal health care.  If depo-provera were free, there would be many fewer elective abortions, and if the medical costs of having a baby weren't so expensive, many o the accidental pregnancies woud come to full term.

If the anti-abortion crowd were really pro-life, they'd fund research into transplanting a fetus from a woman who doesn't want it, into a woman who values it.  The murder rate dropped substantially in the early 1990s, about 18 years after Rie v. Wade, and it dropped first in places like New York which had legalized elective abortion before RvW.  An unwanted kid doesn't bond with his mother, and grows up to be a sociopath.

The Methodist church fought for safe, legal, elective abortion, and so did most of the other mainline protestant churches. The catholics, of course, wanted to keep birth control illegal, and even birth control information in some states.

How many unwanted babies do you want to adopt, RAG?

Don't worry Zank, there's plenty of non-white-male folks out there making. XD

But keep on denying the realities shoved right into your face. It's that kind of self-deception that led your kind to self-defeat, and only hastens their self-destruction. :D
