We can't hide

This is quite the attention grabber:

“The intrusion by a recreational drone early Monday onto the White House lawn exposed a security gap at the compound that the Secret Service has spent years studying but has so far been unable to fix, according to several officials familiar with the concern.”

OK, plug that White House security gap if you can, fine. But what about the rest of us? Further down in the story, there is this about drones -- "Larger models that can carry payloads of up to 30 pounds are available on the market and are expected to become more common" and this: "Most models are too small to appear on radar and are not equipped with electronic transmitters that broadcast their location." I don't know why drones haven't become the weapon of choice for terrorists, but I can see it coming.

Damn, I just scared the crap out of myself.
