Komets notes: Severyn has surgery; Crowder frustrated by injury

Nagle gets called up again

From a Komets press release:

The Komets announced today that goaltender Pat Nagle has been loaned to the AHL's Utica Comets.

Nagle backstopped the Komets to a 3-2 win Saturday night against the visiting Gwinnett Gladiators making 19 saves on 21 shots.

Get George Drysdale's autograph (and his book)

Original Komet and first-elected captain George Drysdale will have a signing party for Wendy Luley's book about him, “Hat Trick Man,” tonight at the Venice restaurant starting at 5:30 p.m.

The book is available through Blurb.com, Komet Kuarters and the Komets' souvenir stand at Memorial Coliseum. The book was published in November.

It's Andrew Harrison from Danville of the FHL who played against them last week for Evansville and was minus-3. He played 12 games for Gary Graham at Pensacola two years ago.  He has scored 39 points and 70 points in 48 games this year with Danville.

"I'm excited to come back, and I'm really looking forward to it," Rizk said. "This is awesome. When I got the call from Gary, I was pumped. Going to Fort Wayne makes it even better. If i was going somewhere else, I don't know if I'd feel as good about it."
