High and dry

"The strange times we live in" department:

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) – Smoking anything other than medically-prescribed marijuana at San Francisco street fairs, festivals and other outdoor events held on city property would be banned under new legislation before the Board of Supervisors.

Supervisor Eric Mar said introduced the proposal because of the health impacts of secondhand smoke when people are light up in public.

Aren't they concerned about the health impact of the contact high, what we in the Heartland like to call the secondhand buzz? What if all those people who breathe in medical marijuana smoke go on food binges and have sex orgies, then start jumping out of windows or looking for nuns to kill?

But I'm just being silly, aren't I? The "contact high" is an "unproven phenomenon." Well, never mind, then.
