This isn't just common sense (from Australia, alas, not our own government). It's calling out the scoundrels and charlatans for who they really are:
FEDERAL cabinet has ruled that Australia will not sign up to any new contributions, taxes or charges at this week's global summit on climate change, in a significant toughening of its stance as it plans to move within days to repeal the carbon tax.
Cabinet ministers have decided to reject any measures of "socialism masquerading as environmentalism" after meeting last week to consider a submission on the position the government would take to the Warsaw conference.
"Socialism masquerating as environmentalism" indeed, except when it's religion masquerading as science. Those with a statist agenda will always come up with a new imminent danger that only big government can thwart, and they will always find plenty of gullible "oh, please, save us from ourselves" fools to go along.
Oh, by the way, The Obama administration will have spent an estimated$22.2 billion on global warming this year, and plans to spend $21.4 billion enxt year.
