It's part of a legislative package for which she would push to address home loan foreclosures if elected next month.
Fine. Let's have the feds buying up the most toxic of the mortgages and the state mediating for those about to become so, and, while we're at it, let's have a new county program to give the mortgage holders stress counseling. But if city police show up at my door demanding whatever loose cash I have to take everybody out to dinner, I'm drawing the line.
