Even on a slow news day -- which we haven't had a hell of a lot of lately -- this would be a pretty silly story:
PRINCETON, N.J., Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Canada, which Barack Obama visited Thursday in his first foreign trip as U.S. president, ranks No. 1 in U.S. public opinion among 19 nations, a poll indicated.Ninety percent of U.S. respondents view Canada, the United States' largest trading partner, favorably, while only 6 percent view it unfavorably, a Gallup World Affairs survey said.
Let's see -- country's right on our border, they speak English (mostly), we haven't had a war with them lately. What a surprise -- we like them best! And the country we like the least of the 19 considered? Iran! I know. I was shocked, too.
