Arrests at the Fort Wayne Newspapers Three Rivers Festival decreased to the first single-digit arrest total in six years.
Police made four arrests throughout the nine-day festival, down from 12 last year. Nine charges were filed against those arrested.
Just kidding. That's a remarkably low number considering attendance may have been up (based on preliminary estimates) 50 percent over last year, and it can't be attributed just to "police presence." Maybe some people really have learned how to have fun, which requires not letting their mirth inflict distress on others.
