If there's anything sillier than atheists buying billboard space to diss God, it's putting God on billboards:
INDIANAPOLIS - A southside church has responded to the "You Don't Need God" billboards posted around Indianapolis with an advertising campaign of its own.
Holly Renforth, an assistant for Church of ACTS pastor Bill Jenkins, says the church has rented a billboard structure along I65 just north of Southport Road. Renforth says their goal is to "battle the atheists billboards" with a Christian message. Their billboards include the message "You Need Me. (Signed) God".
Maybe they should put a photo on George Burns on the sign to give it a little authenticity.
