Tailing the Komets

We're finally in Kalamazoo

It was like a story out of some horror story as we drove around Michigan. Supposedly a 27-car pileup on 94 meant the drive was two hours longer than normal. Those folks could use some prayers if you are so inclined.

Game is supposed to start at 8:15 p.m.  but we'll see how it goes.

So who's going to Kalamazoo?

Let's hear from you!

Woodburn Christian Children's Home benefit

A dinner and auction will be held Saturday starting at 4 p.m. at the Woodburn Community Center next to the fire station. Dinner and the silent auction starts at 4 p.m. and the live auction at 5 p.m.

There are more than 30 pieces of sports memorabilia, including Urban Meyer autographed Ohio State hat, Bob Knight collage, Buddy Ryan autographed Bears mini-helmet and Tom Crean autographed basketball.

Here's the link where you can check some stuff out.

NHL, Bettman make new proposal

What do you think?

To me, it's never a good thing when the side proposing something declines to go into details, or when they say, ``We've given it our best shot.'' That sets the blarney monitor off in a hurry.
