I talked to Bob Chase about this today and he said he saw a replay that he believed showed the puck went in. I'm not sure how it's possible if there was no hole in the net. Maybe it is. I don't know. Anybody else ever heard of something like that? I've seen pucks go in and come right back out too quick to see, but not go through a hole in the net.
According to Komets general manager David Franke, the plan is for Wichita to arrive in Fort Wayne in time to practice Thursday.
The Komets are also not expecting to make any roster moves before the weekend. On Sunday, they have to put Michael Ratchuk on their regular roster if he's going to remain here. He's currently on a five-game ``free'' contract because he has been sent down from the AHL and does not count against the active roster.
Komets president Michael Franke said he was very impressed with the way Rapid City hosted the Central Hockey League All-Star Game a few weeks ago. That doesn't mean Fort Wayne is interested in hosting the game yet.
