Cousineau called up

Komets goaltender Marco Cousineau has been called up to Norfolk of the American Hockey League, which means the Komets need to find an emergency back-up for tonight's game in Colorado. It also means Charlie Effinger will start for the third game in a row.

``He's hot, he's feeling it and he's playing great,'' Komets coach Al Sims said.

Wild game tonight!

It's 6-4 Komets about halfway through the third period. Anybody else up listening/watching. What do you think so far?

Thomas gets suspension

He got nine games from the CHL for his season-long suspension from the SPHL.

After a review and investigation for his actions in a different league, Thomas’ suspension is a continuation of the penalty assessed by that league.  Thomas will be eligible to return to the Blaze for February 28th’s game against Quad City.
