All washed up

It's tough enough trying to figure out whether we're getting a bargain or getting screwed in the marketplace. Now, the Better Business Bureau warns that we should study carefully the claims of "green" companies who say they're helping the environment while making a profit from us:

One marketing business defines green washing as “the act of misleading consumers regarding the environmental practices of a company or the environmental benefits of a product or service.” It lists what it calls “seven sins of green washing."

Doesn't the BBB have better things to do? Doesn't it think I have better things to do? My only green strategy use to be: How much green will this cost me and what will I get for it, and does the transaction equal value for me. Now I might add to that: If a company says anything at all about being green, they get absolutely none of my business.

Leo:
...And here I thought "green washing" was the new "PC" term for MONEY LAUNDERING...
(who knew?)

I would agree with you on the boycott of green businesses with ONE exception:
AN IRISH PUB!
(first pint of Guinness is on ME, Leo)
