Perfect

Eighty percent of success, Woody Allen said, is just showing up. William Boeckmann seems destined for a successful life:

Boeckmann, 19, is a 2010 graduate of Homestead High School. In his 13 years of education, Boeckmann has achieved a rare accomplishment: He never missed a day of school.

[. . .]

Boeckmann, blessed with an unnaturally strong immune system, said sickness was never an issue that could have affected his attendance. He only visited the school nurse once, in eighth grade when he was feeling ill, and was not sent home even then.

The story notes that his perfect record was almost marred when he had his appendix removed a few days before the start of the fourth grade. He still managed to attend school, though he "didn't feel that great." This feat impressAs someone cursed with a so-so immune system and the attitude of a slacker, I'd miss school on the thought that a sniffle might be ready to appear.
