Hey, just in case you were worried about the old Memorial Stadium not having a useful future:
INDIANAPOLIS -
Hundreds of vehicles destined for the scrap heap are filling what once was the outfield of the former minor league baseball stadium in Indianapolis.
A salvage company is leasing the Bush Stadium field from the city parks department to store vehicles it collected in the federal Cash for Clunkers program.
A good, clean junkyard is just what that part of Fort Wayne needs, don't you think? And, by the way, do you realize the new ParkView Field has now had a whole season of use? God knows what shape it's in now that it's getting to the end of its functional life. Hadn't we better start the search for a new ball diamond immediately?
