CHICAGO - Can cleavage cause an earthquake? Women all over the country are testing the theory.
It all started with a blog post from Purdue University senior, Jennifer McCreight. She was upset over comments a senior Iranian cleric made about women who wear revealing clothing and behave promiscuously.

After hearing the comments, McCreight went right to her blog, Blag Hag, demanding the world's women band together in a scientific experiment to test the merits of the Iranian cleric's theory.
Time for a Boobquake," she wrote. "On Monday, April 26, I will wear the most cleavage-showing shirt I own. ... I encourage other female skeptics to join me and embrace the supposed supernatural power of their breasts."
As of 8:30 this morning, Boobquake's Facebook page had 46,473 people who said they liked the idea, and McCreight said women all over Purdue's campus would be "showing their cleavage" all day. Oh, to be in West Lafayette now that spring is here. I'd probably keep a basement or two in view, though. I have never been one to question the "supernatural power of breasts."
